Drew Welcomes New Brunette Boys to Sasha Shangri-La

Image

image
Drew is a handsome 1968 Trendon boy with NP style eyes. We have been trying to find his puppy but he must be hiding. So Drew said this would be a good time to give the newly arrived boys a puppy to love and play with on the farm. 🙂

image
Drew’s wonderful sweater was knitted by Diane Duke who sells on Etsy. 🙂

image
Drew is a very thoughtful boy! 🙂

image
His distressed leather boots were made by Lisa in the UK. 🙂

image
Well, here is Brodie dressed in a Kaffe Fassett designed sweater with matching hat and hand knitted by Diane Duke. I love Diane’s knitted treasures!  Drew is so happy to greet Brodie. He told me earlier that he thought for a long time that I was only adopting girls. 🙂

image
Drew brings a sweet puppy for Brodie to love.  Brodie’s leather boots were made by Jean Jensen. 🙂

image
“Thank you Drew, I will take good care of him.” said Brodie. 🙂

Welcome to the family Bronson. Your puppy is so cute! 🙂

Bronson is fitting in very well with his brothers. 🙂

Drew pauses to say hello to Nico.  Nico has been here on the farm for a while but has yet to be introduced. Nico is a 1967 brunette Trendon NP.  Nico came to Sasha Shangri-La carrying this sweet lion and he loves to play with him. 🙂

image
Drew said to Nico, “Let me officially welcome you to Sasha Shangri-La and give you back your lion to love.” ❤

image
“Thanks Drew! I do wish we could go outdoors but it is rainy today.” 😦

image
Nico’s sweater and matching hat are another Kaffe Fassett design and hand knitted by Diane. His leather boots were made by Jean Jensen. 🙂

Very handsome Nico and Drew. ❤

The boys lined up for a group photo of the brothers.  Each boy looks different from the other.  It is nice that they have their own look and own personalities.  (I hope we find Drew’s puppy soon). 🙂

Hi, It’s Me! Gracie! Psssssst, Don’t Tell Mummy Pretty, Pretty, Please!!

Image

image
Hi everyone, it is me, Gracie! I am really having fun here at the Sasha Shangri-La farm playing with my brothers and sisters each and every day!  Mummy bought me a new dress that was made by Auntie Diane Duke in the UK. But Mummy made me wait ever so long, an eternity really, to open the shipping package.  Mummy would reassure me that she loves me and that she wants me to see my new dress but then she would kiss me, gently put me in my chair, and tell me goodbye.  Mummy would then leave and go someplace called “work”.  She spends ever so much time there at “work” and she is not here with me!   I really do not think it is fair to all of us here on the farm because we want Mummy to be with us each and every day and all of the time!

So, I am writing today and Mummy is not here at all.  She left her Ipad on her bed and well, you all know by now that I have memorized her passwords, so I am blog posting for my dear sweet Mummy to help free up her time and then she will be with us even more!!   We love and miss you Mummy, come home please, please. Pretty please with sugar on top! ❤

image
Here I am again and I want you to see how Mummy “reads” her books most of the time. This is an Ipad and Mummy purchases audible books that are narrated and she listens to them often. Mummy says it helps her because she listens on her drive to “work” and back home plus Mummy listens at home because she says it frees-up her eyes and hands up so that she can spend more time with me–Gracie!!!  Oh, and also with everyone else living here too!  It is hard to sit still while Mummy is away but I do try so very, very hard to be a good little girl….I just know Mummy will be so happy that I posted her photos for her! 🙂

image
Mummy is listening to a mystery book by M.C. Beaton and about Agatha Raisin and the reader is Penelope Keith.  I love to hear her voice very much and the sound of it reminds me of other happy places I have been before Mummy adopted me. 🙂

Mummy did dress me in this one piece undergarment, socks and shoes and these were all made by Thu Cuc Faes.  She put this clip in my hair so I am getting an idea of the colors that I will see in my new dress! I can hardly wait!!!!! 🙂

image
Just lookie!!!  Mummy opened the package and look at the pretty colors in my new dress!  Plus, look, look, a present from Auntie Diane just for me, Gracie!   How very sweet of Auntie Diane!  Thank you! ❤

image
Mummy took this close up photo so you can see how happy I am! 🙂

image
I asked Mummy if I could open my present first and she said yes!!!   I wonder what is inside???

image
Oh my, it is a perfect, pink teddy bear and it is just for me! I love this teddy so very much! Thank you Auntie Diane!!! ❤

image
The gift bag is so very pretty with its floral pattern and I think it makes a lovely hat! Don’t you??? 🙂

image
I feel like such a big girl wearing my new hat!  How happy am I. 🙂

image
Here is my new dress! Isn’t it so very pretty and it is so soft too! 🙂

image
I am such a happy Gracie now! Look at Auntie Diane’s tag.  It has a flower on it!  I love all of my new things very much! ❤

image

Mummy asked me to put my new hat away for some photos that will show my pretty  hair clip. 🙂

image
My pink teddy feels so soft too. I am one happy girl! 🙂

image
Mummy says that she loves taking photos of me!  I like it too! 🙂

image
A last photo taken on Mummy’s bed. Next, we are going to show a few photos of me standing up! 🙂

image
Hi again, it’s me Gracie and I am standing up like a big girl! 🙂

image
Isn’t it nice how good you feel inside when you wear a new dress? I feel very happy! 🙂

image
A nice full length view of me Gracie! 🙂

image
Teddy and I want to thank you for visiting us today and for not telling Mummy! I think she will be so happy when she comes home from “work” and sees how her little Gracie has helped her once again!  Maybe we will “read” a book together! 🙂

image
Teddy and I are sending you big hugs and loving wishes for the rest of the week to come.  Much love coming from us to you!!  I hope Mummy comes home soon! ❤ xxx

Sasha Shangri-La Blonde Boys

Image

image
I thought I would share photos of the blonde boys that call Sasha Shangri-La their home. This tiny boy is Joey a 1970’s PJ boy. He is wearing a gorgeous sweater and hat wonderfully made by Diane Duke.  I love the colors and pattern.  I am not certain about the maker of his trousers.  His brown leather boots are made by Ruthsdolls. ❤

image
Joey is a sweet boy and has a very tender heart. ❤

image
A closer view of Joey.

image
Next is a new blonde boy that came in his tube and blue denims outfit minus his sandals. I have not cleaned him yet but I think he is a handsome boy.  I added this wonderful red cardigan knitted by Diane Duke and the red leather boots made by Jean Jensen.

image
He is the number one purchase for 2015 for those of us keeping a tally. 🙂

image
A closer view of this unnamed boy. ❤

image
Here is Ryder, a Gotz straight nosed boy from the 1960’s. He is most certainly a blonde and so was happy to join in the counting of blonde boys. He is wearing a gorgeous knitted mini sweater and hat that is based on Kaffe Fassett’s popular Persian Poppy sweater.  It was expertly knitted by Diane Duke.  I love this woolen creation and its intricate design very much! His jeans were made by Millie Dingham. ❤

image
Ryder is a handsome boy too!

image
A closer view of Ryder. 🙂

image
The last, but certainly not least, blonde boy is Finn, a 1967 NP. He is wearing a lovely hat and matching sweater jacket that I was lucky to win as a helper at the festival last summer. The maker is unknown. His pup Fetch rarely leaves his side. 🙂

image
It is nice to dress warmly in the winter and Fetch is happy to be next to Finn. 🙂

image
A closer view of my beloved Finn. ❤

image
Blonde boys all in a row. 🙂

image
A closer view of the boys. 🙂

image
I wanted to point out in this photo the size of little Joey on the right. You can see how petite he is next to his new brother that was made in 1970.  I think Joey was made later in the 1970’s and his stringing is white but replaced. How interesting they are to see side by side. 🙂

image
Oh my, who do we have here? Why it’s a new toddler, Erik!  Erik, you are not a blonde boy and this is a blonde boy post!

image
“Mummy, please let me stay here with the boys. I do not have blonde hair and I do not have brunette hair and my hair is not red, so where do I fit in?”  (I bought Erik last month from a dear friend.  I have no boy toddler clothes for him to wear and so he remains in his cute original outfit).  I asked little Erik, “What color is your hair little one?”

image
“I think my hair is a sandy brown Mummy. May I please stay with the blonde boys?”

image
Next all of the boys asked me to leave little Erik with them. They said that Erik’s hair is blonde! Well sort of blonde Mummy!

image
Well, how could I say no to these sweet boys??

image
Little Joey loves Erik. ❤

image
Love the boys!

image
The blonde boys here at Sasha Shangri-La send you hugs and happy wishes for a great week to come! Thank you for visiting! 🙂 xxx
