Drew is a handsome 1968 Trendon boy with NP style eyes. We have been trying to find his puppy but he must be hiding. So Drew said this would be a good time to give the newly arrived boys a puppy to love and play with on the farm. 🙂
Drew’s wonderful sweater was knitted by Diane Duke who sells on Etsy. 🙂
Drew is a very thoughtful boy! 🙂
His distressed leather boots were made by Lisa in the UK. 🙂
Well, here is Brodie dressed in a Kaffe Fassett designed sweater with matching hat and hand knitted by Diane Duke. I love Diane’s knitted treasures! Drew is so happy to greet Brodie. He told me earlier that he thought for a long time that I was only adopting girls. 🙂
Drew brings a sweet puppy for Brodie to love. Brodie’s leather boots were made by Jean Jensen. 🙂
“Thank you Drew, I will take good care of him.” said Brodie. 🙂
Brodie and Drew, both 1968 brunette boys and now brothers. ❤
Brodie up close. I found Brodie last weekend while on a trip to Cincinnati, Ohio. 🙂
Brodie with his new puppy. Brodie has radiating lines in his irises that make his eyes very special. 🙂
We are so happy that Brodie joined the family. 🙂
Bronson is so happy to meet his new brother! Drew! 🙂
Drew handed a dear, happy puppy to Bronson and said “Welcome Bronson! We are so glad you are here!” 🙂
Bronson’s sweater and matching hat were knitted by Diane Duke and they are also a Kaffe Fassett design. His red leather boots were made by Jean Jensen. Bronson is very excited to meet Drew and to have his own puppy! 🙂
Bronson looks very handsome in his new outfit. 🙂
Bronson is a waif boy recently found on ebay and he just arrived at Sasha Shangri-La. ❤
Welcome to the family Bronson. Your puppy is so cute! 🙂
Bronson is fitting in very well with his brothers. 🙂
Drew pauses to say hello to Nico. Nico has been here on the farm for a while but has yet to be introduced. Nico is a 1967 brunette Trendon NP. Nico came to Sasha Shangri-La carrying this sweet lion and he loves to play with him. 🙂
Drew said to Nico, “Let me officially welcome you to Sasha Shangri-La and give you back your lion to love.” ❤
“Thanks Drew! I do wish we could go outdoors but it is rainy today.” 😦
Nico’s sweater and matching hat are another Kaffe Fassett design and hand knitted by Diane. His leather boots were made by Jean Jensen. 🙂
Very handsome Nico and Drew. ❤
Nico and Bronson, 1967 boys and now brothers. ❤
Some photos of Nico up close. 🙂
Nico is also very sweet. He came to us wearing the blue demin outfit with white sandals. 🙂
Nico is a very cute boy too! 🙂
The boys lined up for a group photo of the brothers. Each boy looks different from the other. It is nice that they have their own look and own personalities. (I hope we find Drew’s puppy soon). 🙂
The boys are waving goodbye and sending you hugs. Thank you for visiting with us and we hope you enjoyed this welcoming post. We are sending you happy wishes for the week to come! Lastly, a few Waterlogue images for you to enjoy. 🙂 xxx
Oh my Ginger, what a fabulous group of boys you have there. I love Drew, Nico and Bronson so much but my heart is with Brodie. Those radiating lines around his eyes are just amazing and so rare. My own Brodie sends his love to your Brodie and is so hopeful they will meet up next year! I just love what the boys are wearing, those little mini Kaffe sets are just stunning, I must get on to Diane for one post haste! Thank you for sharing these boys, each unique in their own way. ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
Thank you Janet and what fun it has been to clean up Bronson and dress the group of boys! Brodie sends his love to you and your Brodie too. I hope that we all meet next year! <3.
Diane's knitted goods are just wonderful to dress and see on the Sashas and they fit so well being easy to put on and take off. I am so happy you enjoyed the post! 🙂 xxx
What a super handsome group of 1967/68 brunette lads. Particularly love the photo/s of them alltogether so that their individual differences and characters can be more easily seen. (I’m particularly trying NOT to look TOO closely at Brodie’s eye painting as it is too much of a reminder of my recent stupid mistake of parting with my 1968 lad with his radiating iris lined eyes.)
I love the way each new lad gets a little puppy (well a lion in Nico’s case) to love and care for on his welcoming introduction. Would be great to see a future post with all your lads out and about with their various puppies…..well that is, when Drew’s puppy is finally found…..perhaps there could be an Agility or Flyball course set up as a competition like they do at these dog shows…..(though not sure that the lion would be allowed to enter!)
Do they keep to wearing their own outfits etc or does some sharing go on?
Many thanks boys for your ‘happy’ wishes.
Hi Kendal and thank you for the lovely comments for the brunette boys. I particularly like the group photos too and it does help to see how they are alike and how they are different. I am still pinching myself over finding Brodie last weekend. My lucky day! 🙂
I am glad you mentioned the welcoming puppy exchange in the previous post because it prompted me to organize this welcome post. I have been behind showing new arrivals like Nico and now the lads are all properly introduced and bonding as brothers are expected to do. Much joy there! ❤
I will show them again outdoors with their furry friends on a pretty Fall day. Thankfully the lion is very, very tame and a vegetatarian too so he can share in the fun! 😉
The boys all share their outfits and they do not seem to care much about clothes but Mommy will try her best to ensure they are well dressed and they are very sweet and patient with me. 🙂 xxx
Ginger ! What absolutely gorgeous brunette boys have arrived! Everyone of them is just plain gorgeous including their new brother Drew.
But I have to say that Nico was the one who pinged my heart when I saw his sweet handsome face! Love all Diane’s knitwear too, especially the one with the houses and the one Nico is wearing.
Also love the soft green colour of Drew’s cords. So all round a wonderful post to enjoy with my breakfast this foggy Sunday morning.
A handsome band of brothers to join the farm :)xxx
Hi Dee! We like lining up our Sashas don’t we??? I always love it when you photograph lyour dolls lined up and really I enjoy photographing mine in a row too. 🙂
Nico is very, very sweet in the face and he has amazing eye painting though very different from the other boys. He is in really good condition too. Thank you for the lovely comments about the boys and I am happy you like their outfits. They have been a lot of fun this weekend getting them ready for the blog. 🙂 xxx
Beautiful boys Ginger…love the mini Kaffe fassett sweaters too xx
Thank you Lel, I am so happy you liked seeing the brunette boys in their colorful knitted clothing. The sweaters are just wonderful. ❤ xxx
What a superb line up of boys Ginger and I’m so honoured that they are all wearing my knits. They are really handsome lads and each one has his own personality. Well chosen – your have a wonderful eye for great Sashas xx
Thank you Diane and I think the boys did a great job of modeling your knitted works of wonder! Later when the temperature drops and it is cold, I will show them wearing their gorgeous matching hats with the sweaters. I am happy you like the boys and thank you for the nice compliments! 🙂 xxx
Thanks Ginger – that’s a wonderful line up of boys for a change.
I have a very big soft spot for the boys and, obviously so do you. You have a really handsome bunch there, and that’s without Finn and any other boys I don’t see here. Glorious eye-painting and they’re all different and they all have great knits by Diane to sport and look their very handsomest best. Loved seeing them all !
Hi Linda! I apologize not writing back earlier. The time just got away from me. 😦
I am so happy you enjoyed seeing the brunette boys on the blog. Yes, I do have a soft spot for the boys and it all began with Finn who won my heart long ago. ❤ Since Finn, it has been nice to add brothers and puppies to the family here on the farm. Diane's knitted sweaters and matching hats are just wonderful and I so enjoy dressing the boys in lovely colors and nice outfits. Thank you so much for writing and have a great day! 🙂 xxx
