Hello all, this is Gracie with great news! First, Mummy is taking me to the Sasha Festival in Minnesota! Yay!
Second, I asked Mummy if I could wear my gingham dress and she said yes! Yay!
And third, I asked Mummy if we could go outdoors today and gather up my sisters that are wearing gingham dresses and she said yes! Triple yay!!
So, here we go!
My my first sister is Sara. A beautiful NP with hand painted eyes by Sara Doggart.
When Sara came to Sasha Shangri-La, she was wearing a non factory dress. As a result, we are not certain what outfit she would have worn from the factory. Mummy had this wide skirt gingham outfit and so it now belongs to Sara. I hope you like these photos of Sara.
Next is is my sister Chloe. She is a 1966 brunette NP with deep blue eyes.
Chloe came to Sasha Shangri-La wearing a pretty pink dress and, over time, Mummy found this wide skirt, factory gingham dress just for her. I hope you like Chloe’s photos.
Next is big sis Alaine with her pretty hand painted eyes.
Alaine came to Sasha Shangri-La in her original gingham outfit plus her original gold tag. She is a 1968 fringe girl. Here are a few photos of Alaine. I hope you like them.
The next sister is Faith. I love Faith so much especially when she reads to me.
Faith came to Sasha Shangri-La without any clothes! Brrrrr… Now she is wearing a wide skirt mini-check gingham dress that Mummy bought for her. Faith is an early 1968 fringe girl and we have learned that the mini check was made later in 1968. So this dress was probably not one that Faith would have worn from the factory but Faith likes it and so do all of us here on the farm. I hope you like these photos of Faith.
Clare is the next gingham sister for you to see.
Clare came to Sasha Shangri-La also redressed. Mummy found this wide skirt gingham outfit for her. Clare is a 1968 fringe girl and she has a wider face. Here are a few photos of Clare in gingham. I hope you like them.
Last, is my new sister Jenn. Jenn just came to Sasha Shangri-La recently.
Jenn came to Cow Creek wearing this original gingham outfit with its narrower skirt. She also came in her original crayon tube. Jenn is a 1969 side-part. I hope you like her photos. I gave her a soft bear to love.
The next photos show the gingham girls in groups.
This is my favorite photo! I hope you liked this post. All the gingham girls and I want to thank you for visiting with us today. We are sending you hugs and happy wishes for a wonderful week ahead. xxx
The Waterlogue images are for you to enjoy.
what a gorgeous bunch of sisters!!
Thank you Kathy! 😊 xxx
Beautiful Gingham girls Ginger! What a line up!
Thanks Laura! Love those gingham girls! ❤️ xxx
Dear Gracie, Thank you for introducing yourself and your Gingham sisters. You are all so very lovely! It is evident that you love your Gingham sisters very much. You are very fortunate to be living with your Mummy at Cow Creek. I am looking forward to meeting you at the Sasha Festival!
Love and hugs from your Auntie Peggy
Thank you Auntie Peggy! I am happy you like the gingham sisters here on Cow Creek. I am so excited about the Festival. I look forward to seeing you there! We will have the best time! ❤️ xxx
Have a lovely time at Festival Gracie, I wish I could be there too. You look delicious in your embroidered gingham and your sisters are a beautiful sight to behold ❤
Thank you Auntie Tricia! I wish you could be there too. I miss you. ❤️ My dress was made by Thu Cuc Faes and I love the little ladybug button sewn on the front.i am so happy you enjoyed my post! ❤️ xxx
Thanks Gracie for introducing us to your fabulous Gingham sisters in this truly STUNNING post. (A pity though that YOU weren’t in your Gingham outfit too…but perhaps your mummy didn’t want you wearing it in case you got some dirt on it before the Festival!)
Chloe is a gorgeous 1966 Developmental Gingham girl and in the complete correct outfit.
ADORE Sara Doggart’s eye painting on Sara but on account of her FCP she would have been either a Jeans girl in the brown Farmpants or a Brown Cord Dress girl and not a Gingham dress.
Loving Clare’s wider face and beautifully painted tiny eyes.
The tiny checked Gingham dresses are a super additional variety to the 1968 Fringe girl era. I was lucky to have one on a MINT doll straight from the factory in my collection for quite a few years before I sold her on with not feeling able to play or redress her on account of her wonderful condition.
Faith and Alaine too have beautiful delicate eye paintings and your latest purchase, Jenn, the 1969 choppy fringed sidepart is another lovely addition to show the next stage of the Frido/Trendon eye styles.
THRILLED, as always, with the Waterlogue photos at the end.
Many thanks girls for the next weeks good wishes.
Thank you Auntie Kendal for writing to me. I asked Mummy to let me wear this blue gingham dress because I wanted to wear the same color gingham as my sisters plus I just love the ladybug button. ❤️
Thank you too for the information about Sara’s outfit. I wonder if she would be prettier in the brown corduroy dress or the farmpants? I really don’t like dark colors much this time of year. Maybe we can show Sara in both brown outfits this Fall and decide what looks best on her? Sara has been sadly left out of blog posts for a very long time so I am glad we stretched a bit to include her. ❤️
All the sisters here appreciate your very kind words about them and especially Jenn, the newest sister. I think she felt a bit left out among the earlier sisters. But after reading your comments, she is now the proud Cow Creek representative of the next stage of the Frido/Trendon factory with her choppy fringe, different eye style and narrow skirt. Yay! ❤️ xxx
Oh dear. Just spotted TWO spelling mistakes of mine…’weeks and next.’ Naughty me for not proof reading, yet again!
Corrected. ❤️
Gracie, what a wonderful idea for a gathering and you certainly got some beautiful attendees. I am glad you are going to the Festival. I’m sure your mom will get you lots of goodies!
Thank you Auntie Janet. I am glad you like seeing my gingham sisters. I can hardly wait to see all my friends at the Festival. Mummy did promise me a surprise from the sales room. ❤️ xxx
They’re all so different even with the common theme of blue gingham – what super bunch of beauties.
Thank you DollMum! It is nice to see them all in gingham. When I adopt them, I put their original outfits away and usually they don’t wear them again unless they are adopted out. A fun post! ❤️ xxx
Hello Gracie, What a lovely group you and your gingham sisters make. all so different.
I hope you and Mummy have a lovely time at the festival and that you tell us all about your adventures when you return.
Love Dee and the Sasha Villagers xxx
Thank you Auntie Dee. We are starting to pack things for the Festival and I am so excited! I will be sure toshare our good times spent there. We are sending our love to you and all those in the Sasha Village. ❤️ xxx
WOW what a beautiful bunch of blue gingham loveliness!
Such pretty sisters you have little Gracie. My favourite (though don’t tell the others) is Alaine, she is just gorgeous, her face really appeals to me and the blue in her dress makes her eyes shine and pop right out of the laptop screen at me.
Thank you so much for sharing your gingham girlies with us Gracie and Ginger 🙂
Big hugs and I hope you really enjoy the Festival!!!

Thank you Auntie Sharon! We had a nice day dressed in our gingham and playing outdoors. Alaine is really beautiful and she is nice too. She shares her ice cream with me! 😊
I am excited about the Festival. Mummy has started packing and wrapping up my sisters and brothers but so far, I am still free! We will take Festival photos to share. Big hugs just for you! ❤️ XXX
