Clare in the Pink

A quick post today to show Clare in a pretty, pale pink dress found on Shelly’s site.  Underneath, there is a sleeveless dress that acts as a slip. It has a pink top and white bottom. Also, there are pretty pink petit pants with a lace trim on the legs.  This dress/ outfit spoke to me because I remember wearing a similar one to a birthday party when I was 5 years old. A very happy memory and I love the dress!

Shelly’s photo of the outfit.

Her pretty leather shoes were made by Marti Murphy.

A sweet bear to play with and enjoy makes for a happy day.

A close up of Clare.

Clare’s hair is longer in the back.

Have a wonderful day. Thank you for visiting Sasha Shangri-La. xxx

  1. Clare certainly is pretty in pink Ginger! What a lovely memory to have when you see her wearing this dress. Her leather double T strap shoes set off the dress very well. Clare is a beautiful girl.

    • Thank you Cathy. It is funny that I remember so many things that happened at that party. It was great fun. I wore black patent leather shoes though with a white pearly button on top. We dressed up for parties in those days. xxx

  2. Pink is Clare’s colour for sure! Such a lovely dress, very pretty and feminine. I bet you looked very sweet in your dress when you were five 🙂
The outfit looks to be beautifully made and I love how the skirt looks on Clare.
A beautiful girl in a beautiful dress I hope she gets to show it off to her friends 🙂 xxx

    • I think so too Dee. Especially with her paler lips, the light pink really is pretty on Clare. It is made very well and someone took great care sewing this outfit.

Clare is making her rounds here with all of the girls and they just love the dress too. Maybe oneday, another girl will get to wear it. But for now, it belongs to Clare. Thanks for writing. ❤️ xxx

    • Yes, DollMum, we did have a party of the gingham girls here at Sasha Shangri-La. Clare wore her pink dress and then changed into her gingham dress to match her sisters. I am looking forward to a future post of this gathering. ❤️ xxx
