Sasha Shangri-La Blonde Boys

image
I thought I would share photos of the blonde boys that call Sasha Shangri-La their home. This tiny boy is Joey a 1970’s PJ boy. He is wearing a gorgeous sweater and hat wonderfully made by Diane Duke.  I love the colors and pattern.  I am not certain about the maker of his trousers.  His brown leather boots are made by Ruthsdolls. ❤

Joey is a sweet boy and has a very tender heart. ❤

Next is a new blonde boy that came in his tube and blue denims outfit minus his sandals. I have not cleaned him yet but I think he is a handsome boy.  I added this wonderful red cardigan knitted by Diane Duke and the red leather boots made by Jean Jensen.

He is the number one purchase for 2015 for those of us keeping a tally. 🙂

Here is Ryder, a Gotz straight nosed boy from the 1960’s. He is most certainly a blonde and so was happy to join in the counting of blonde boys. He is wearing a gorgeous knitted mini sweater and hat that is based on Kaffe Fassett’s popular Persian Poppy sweater.  It was expertly knitted by Diane Duke.  I love this woolen creation and its intricate design very much! His jeans were made by Millie Dingham. ❤

Ryder is a handsome boy too!

The last, but certainly not least, blonde boy is Finn, a 1967 NP. He is wearing a lovely hat and matching sweater jacket that I was lucky to win as a helper at the festival last summer. The maker is unknown. His pup Fetch rarely leaves his side. 🙂

It is nice to dress warmly in the winter and Fetch is happy to be next to Finn. 🙂

I wanted to point out in this photo the size of little Joey on the right. You can see how petite he is next to his new brother that was made in 1970.  I think Joey was made later in the 1970’s and his stringing is white but replaced. How interesting they are to see side by side. 🙂

Oh my, who do we have here? Why it’s a new toddler, Erik!  Erik, you are not a blonde boy and this is a blonde boy post!

image
“Mummy, please let me stay here with the boys. I do not have blonde hair and I do not have brunette hair and my hair is not red, so where do I fit in?”  (I bought Erik last month from a dear friend.  I have no boy toddler clothes for him to wear and so he remains in his cute original outfit).  I asked little Erik, “What color is your hair little one?”

image
“I think my hair is a sandy brown Mummy. May I please stay with the blonde boys?”

image
Next all of the boys asked me to leave little Erik with them. They said that Erik’s hair is blonde! Well sort of blonde Mummy!

image
Well, how could I say no to these sweet boys??

Little Joey loves Erik. ❤

Love the boys!

  1. Wow Ginger – what lovely boys all together and so glad they like to wear knits! Congratulations on getting your Erik and hope you have lots of happy times with him. Hey, let him be an honorary blonde boy for a while, the little guy deserves some fun too! xx

    • Hi Diane and thank you! I think it is a great idea for Erik to be an honorary blonde boy until he makes other friends and is able to dress warmly for winter play! The knits are wonderful! 🙂 xxx

  2. What super boys…..only 11 more dolls for you to buy this year Ginger 🙂
Congratulations on getting a new toddler! They are getting so hard to come by…he is a lovely little chap…I bet your toddler girls are going to adore their new brother!

    • Thank you Ronnie! I know only 11 more for the year and I have another one on the way now! So glad you liked the boy toddler. He hasn’t met the twins, Betsy and Ellie, yet but he has met Gracie. She found him as soon as he arrived. She loves everyone and has become a sort of a greeter here. She is first to see all of the new arrivals as they leave their boxes and gives them big, welcoming hugs. Such fun! 🙂 xxx

    • Thank you Kendal and I am glad that you liked seeing the boys. It is so nice to dress them in colorful and warm sweaters for winter temperatures. The new toddler Erik is just precious and he has endeared himself to everyone he meets. The toddlers are such a treat for the Sasha family! 🙂 xxx

  3. Lovely to see your blonde boys Ginger, especially Ryder who my lot who send a fond hello to. A new toddler as well! I am sure he is going to be great fun as well. It is funny, I favour the blondes in the girls, but I definitely have more brunette boys!

    • Hi Lorraine! Ryder sends his love to you and yours and he has very happy memories of his time with you, Henry, and the Sasha clan. I have more brunette boys too and don’t really know why that it is but the boys are wonderful to dress and photograph. The new toddler, Erik is a happy addition here! 🙂 xxx

  4. Gorgeous set of blonde boys you have there Ginger. I so love little Joey on the end, those petite boys have such a sweetness to them. 🙂
And a new little boy Erik, of the sandy hair, joining all the fun in Shangri- la. I’m sure he’ll soon have some lovely clothes to help in fit in with all his new family:)xx

    • Hi Dee! I thought you would love little Joey! He is a dear little fellow and I agree that their size is so precious and endearing. Erik is sure to have fun with the blondes, brunettes, redheads and anyone in between! So glad he is here! 🙂 xxx

  5. Cheeky little Erik with the sandy/brownish hair joining the handsome blond boys for their photo shoot. How lucky to get a new toddler (we’re still saving and at current prices will need to save for a long time).

    • Hello Doll Mum! Yes, Erik was quite determined to join the big boys when he saw them gathering around. He is the only boy toddler here and he knew he would have to meet the older brothers since the babies are too little to play with. He will meet his sisters soon. I agree, at the current prices, there are no toddler brothers for Erik in the near future. I am amazed at the prices we are seeing now but they are very wonderful!:) xxx

  6. Love, love, love this presentation of the gang! Boys don’t usually get such a great display of their style and each one of these guys have such different personalities (in my humble opinion) and you’ve shown that in these photos. A mighty cheer to you and thank you so much for sharing these delightful boys!!!

    • Hi Maureen! So very lovely to hear from you! I am happy you enjoyed seeing the blonde boys! 🙂 I love seeing them too! It is fun to photograph them and show their handsome faces, reveal their personalities, and display their amazing outfits! Thank you very much for your uplifting comments! 🙂 xxx
