By Early Morning Light

Image

image
The big beautiful sun is out today and shining in all of its glory! Yeah! πŸ™‚

image
I first thought of Adeline and how I wanted to take her photo wearing our newly acquired Karen Warnaka dress. Her olive green, leather shoes are from Sashapotamus. πŸ™‚

image
Adeline is a 1967 Trendon NP and I named her after my late and much loved grandmother. It seems just right that the heavenly rays are shining on us today. ❀

image
I thought it would be nice to see the first light of the day as it filters through the trees and warms us on this very crisp and frosty morning. πŸ™‚

image
It is interesting to see the different light on Adeline as the day wakes up around us. ❀

image
So I took a lot of photos to share with you. πŸ™‚

I love this outfit on Adeline. ❀

The lovely smocking. πŸ™‚

The lovely belt with snap closures and button accents. The dress details make for an exceptional garment. πŸ™‚

The knitted socks are perfect and the shoes worked out very well. πŸ™‚

A waterlogue image of dear Adeline. ❀

My grandmother Adeline’s middle name was Pearl. So it seemed very fitting this morning to bring with Adeline her sister Pearl. ❀

Wisely, Pearl dressed warm this morning. πŸ˜‰

This lovely oufit was sold in two lots on Shelly’s site. I crossed my fingers that I would be in time to get both lots to join this lovely coat with the matching pants. πŸ™‚

image
The knitted hat and scarf came with the coat. They are perfect together. πŸ™‚

This knitted top and matching socks came with the pants. πŸ™‚

Pearl is a 1966 NP Trendon girl.   We took her hat off so you could see her pretty red hair. ❀

image
I love her pretty brown graphic eyes. ❀

We took a few photos with the coat removed. πŸ™‚

The sun is shining on Pearl. ❀

image
Pearl in pink though some say redheads should not wear pink, I always wore pink with my red hair and felt great wearing that color. Β Pearl likes pink too! πŸ˜‰

Pearl is getting a bit cold without her coat. 😦

“Please Mommy, may I put my coat on?” Yes, of course Pearl, let’s warm up! πŸ™‚

image
There, that is much better my dear Pearl. ❀

image
“Where is my sister Adeline?”

image
There she is! Now Adeline and Pearl are together again. πŸ™‚

image
Sisters. ❀

Adeline and Pearl want to thank you for visiting with them today. They hoped you enjoyed your time with us. πŸ™‚

image
They also are sending you hugs and happy wishes for a wonderful week to come! πŸ™‚

Neither girl wants to go back inside the house. It is a beautiful day here at Sasha Shangri-La and it is best to enjoy the day outdoors if you can. ❀

Brunettes and Barn

Image

image

A very beautiful, pastΒ weekend with warm, sunny days led me to take Jessie and Adeline outdoors for photos.Β Β I used one of the barns as a rustic backdrop to contrast with these fine and lovely girls and their outfits.

Jessie is wearing a new, pretty pink and redΒ Ruthsdolls outfit that I was lucky to find on Shelly’s site.Β  I added pale pink knitted socks and found red leather shoes made by Ruthsdolls that came with a Christmas outfit.Β  I borrowed themΒ to go withΒ Jessie’s new outfit. πŸ™‚

image
Adeline, on the right, is wearing a dress made by Maureen Hallenbeck and I had previously shown Adeline in this outfit.Β  I have not changed it because I do love it onΒ Adeline and she looks so nice next to Jessie and in her new outfit. πŸ™‚

image
Jessie and Adeline are both 1967 NPs from the English Production. I love that they both have their own “look” and also love Jessie’s bobbed hair cut. ❀

Adeline’s Christmas Dress

Image

image
Adeline is very happy to model her new Christmas outfit made by Karen Warnaka. I love Karen’s dresses with the beautiful smocking and her amazing wool jackets and coats. This outfit was made for sweet Adeline to wear for Christmas. ❀

image
Adeline is a 1967 English production NP.   I love her beautiful brown eyes and jet black hair. ❀

The wool jacket fits her perfectly. The silver heart buttons are so nice to see.

Lovely color for Adeline. Β The flowers are a very soft and pretty addition. πŸ™‚
