A Gotz Girl Gathering Waiting for Santa

Mimi, Annie, Briana, and Diana are so excited to spend their first Christmas at Sasha Shangri-La. They cannot wait for Santa to arrive and they are enjoying this special Santa gourd. 🙂

A closer look at Santa. He is painted by artist Jessie Geesey and is a fine example of gourd folk art. 🙂

I have really connected to these girls and appreciate their very distinct looks and personalities. 🙂

Mimi is a ponytail Gotz adopted from Dee’s clan, Annie is an early 1965 Gotz girl with no mold line and found on Shelly’s site, Briana was adopted from Liss and Diana was from Shelly’s site. Both Briana and Diana were most likely made in 1965/66. ❤

A little holiday ribbon to play with helps to expend some of the Christmas energy that is building up each day as December 25th draws near and Santa arrives! Annie and Briana’s outfits were made by Ruthsdolls. Annie’s green suede slip-on shoes were gifted to me one Christmas by Jackie Hyatt and they are precious to me. I think Briana’s outfit was once in Kendal’s Sasha closet. 🙂

Happy Holidays – Hannah’s Homecoming

Hello, my name is Hannah. I have just arrived at Sasha Shangri-La. My Mommy has gifted me this new dress to wear for Christmas. It was made by Karn Warnaka and it fits me perfectly. 🙂

This is my sister Audrey. Audrey was the first sister to greet me when I arrived. Mommy said my stringing is very loose and so she used a stand to help me “stand” up. 🙂

Mommy removed the stand when Audrey volunteered to help me stand up and Audrey said she would catch me if I would fall. I think Audrey is just the dearest of sisters. ❤
Audrey was born in 1968 and I was born in 1966. Mommy says I am an NP with graphic eyes but I am not certain what that all means right now. I do know that I am a bit taller than Audrey and I should be since I am an older, big sister. Isn’t my Audrey beautiful? I love her festive red knitted outfit with white bolero. Her stripy socks and red leather shoes are by Ruthsdolls. Audrey has a present for me! ❤

Mommy told me that Audrey and I are the first of the holiday posts for Sasha Shangri-La. That makes us both very happy! 🙂

My red leather shoes say “JJ” on the bottom and Mommy said that Jean Jensen made them. They fit me just right. I am on the stand again since Audrey stepped aside for this photo. She wanted you to see just me since I am newly adopted. I love my sister Audrey. ❤

Mommy took the rest of this posts photos indoors. The entire weekend was overcast with no sunshine. We hope this unusual warm weather will cool down and the sun will shine too. 🙂

A Bright Star at Sasha Shangri-La

1. Oh joy, I caught a glimpse of a bright light. Look, a tag that shines!

2. A lovely silvery shine that causes the heart to quicken and brings a smile to the face. 🙂

3. This bright girl recently came to live with us here at Sasha Shangri-La. I am so happy to introduce Brigitte to you. She is a studio doll created in Sasha’s studio in Switzerland. 🙂

4. Finally, having a day without rain, I was able to take photos outdoors. I wanted to take close-up photos so you could see the face painting by Sasha Morgenthaler. ❤
