Finn is always the first one to volunteer to help with chores here at Sasha Shangri-La. Finn is no stranger to work and, in fact, Finn loves being active every chance he gets. His ever-faithful pup, Fetch joined him. 🙂
This time Finn is helping my son wash his truck.
My son has a Ford F150 Truck which is a pretty big truck to me! 🙂
Luckily Finn likes a challenge! 🙂
Afterwards, Finn rests by the state license plate. He likes the deer plate and we do enjoy watching the many deer here on the farm. 🙂
Tires look very nice to me. But my son has already replaced these wheels with new ones that he says are much better!
Finn and I liked these wheels very much and we really don’t understand buying new ones. But, my son doesn’t understand the buying and selling of Sasha dolls. So, each to his own! 😉
After washing the truck, Finn helped to carry in the groceries. 🙂
I was so thankful to have his help and Fetch’s help too! I took several photos of Finn around the VW Jetta while unloading the groceries.
Finn’s vest was knitted by Linda Simpson. I love it! I hope you will forgive the use of these slip-on tennis shoes. I didn’t feel up to wrestling with the laces on the tennis shoes that Finn normally wears and Finn said it was okay though he thinks they are “girly” shoes! For those of you that do not know Finn, he is a 1967 English production NP with all platinum hair. ❤
A last photo of my beloved Finn waving goodbye. We thank you for visiting us and we wish you a beautiful weekend to come! 🙂 xxx
Speaking of beautiful days, I took this photo last weekend while waiting in my car at the local Home Depot store. It was a glorious day and I couldn’t resist taking a photo of its beauty. ❤
Finn is indeed a very fine lad. So helpful to his family, washing the car and helping with the shopping while being helped himself by his dog Fletch.
Looking very handsome Finn and you to Fletch.
I love when the trees are full of blossom you know that the warmer weather will finally start to win!
Great post Ginger 🙂 xx
Thank you Dee! I appreciate the very kind Finn comments. Yes, the warmer weather is winning finally! Have a great day and I will visit the Village later in hopes of seeing your great reveal! 🙂 xxx
What a wonderful little helper (and his dog!) you have there when it comes to one of my considered worst chores of off-loading and putting away the shopping and groceries and washing off what looks, compared to my VW, an already clean and shiny car.
Please send him over here asap!
Enjoyed seeing the reflection photos of you and your camera in the various photos!
Many thanks for Finn’s weekend wishes although we are unfortunately expecting cooler weather here with some showers!
Hi Kendal and thank you! I am very fortunate to have a son and a husband that keep my car clean though Finn is a super helper! I knew you would see those reflections with your keen powers of observation! It is nice to tell two stories with one photo if you are able to see it! 🙂
We are having cooler and rainy days this weekend too. Overall, I think we are gaining our warm days back. Hope you are feeler better too. ❤ xxx
As soon as I saw that first photo I thought that tanktop/vest could only have been knitted by Linda! It is fabulous and I love it. Looks like Finn has had a very busy day helping out…do you think he can come and clean my car, I don’t think it has been done for um…let me think must be at least a year!
Love the cherry tree as well 🙂
Thanks Lorraine! I think Finn could stay real busy in the UK but he has a full time job here on the farm! Poor boy, we work him hard but he loves it!!!
I saw your beautiful photo of a cherry tree on facebook and that reminded me to post mine! Such a nice time of year! 🙂 xxx
Finn is looking as handsome as ever Ginger and that is a lovely red truck your son has there…..and yes, my son did the same with his car, changed the wheels from perfectly good wheels to some other fancy type! Such a waste but these youngsters know what they like…and he doesn’t understand the buying of dolls, although he says he would soon understand the selling of them LOL!
Love Finn’s pullover, very nicely knitted 🙂
Big hugs Sharon xxx
Thank you Sharon! It sounds like our sons have similar tastes. I have admired cars since my early teens but dolls have been with me since I was born! My earliest photo of me with a doll is at age one though my Mom wrote in my baby book that I received a doll as a present at birth. It didn’t say what type of doll it was but my doll in the photo was a Raggedy Ann. Have a great day and hope yours is sunny! 🙂 xxx
Boys know about their alloy wheels and what they think looks good, Finn will be joining that club within a few years 😉 He’s a beautiful boy and the weather looks glorious 🙂 x
Hi Louise! You are so right, the boys do know their wheels! Thank you for the kind Finn comments. Yes, the weather is getting warmer though it is rainy today. May is almost here! 🙂 xxx
Fin’s vest is fabulous!! What a cutie!
So glad you enjoyed the post. Thank you! 🙂 xxx
