Abby loves her new dress and the beautiful red leather shoes with white knitted socks! Her pink teddy bear is just happy to be at Abby’s side. 🙂
Abby is an early studio doll and her lovely facial features were hand painted by Sasha Morgenthaler herself. Her yarn wig is original to her and found on some of the early studio dolls. Her body type is “A” and the same body type that was used years later during the production of the Course dolls from 1970-1993. ❤
I think this shade of red looks very pretty on Abby. ❤

Oh how wonderful! I did a post recently about my doll Sasha Gingham, Mignon and her dress. It is a similar fabric to your Abby’s but with Cherries instead of strawberries. What lovely photos of your girl!

Red is just the perfect colour to compliment the Christmas season and I’ve always loved this double row of smocking styled dress of Sasha Morgenthaler’s on our Sasha dolls.

Lovely Christmas dress for Abbey, Ginger. Thu Cuc is a very talented dress maker and her dresses for the course dolls and studio dolls beautiful. I bought one for my course doll and she’s saving it to wear nearer Christmas when the others get changed.

Abby is not a course doll though but an early studio doll. She has the A body and the I face mask. Her yarn hair is early and not seen often. I should have put that in the description but only wrote about her dress. I will add that to the post because it is easy to think that she is a Course doll. Thank you for the lovely comment! 🙂 xxx
