I hope you will enjoy this extra-long post that will show all the dolls that were made by Janet Myhill-Dabbs that live here at Sasha Shangri-La. This post is to show Janet’s doll creations and their outfits. ❤️

First up is Gertie a previous Pintucks girl repainted by Janet. I love Gertie. ❤️

Gertie again. 😊

❤️❤️❤️

Janet dyed Gertie’s pintucks wig and made this outfit just for her. ❤️

Gertie up close.

Janet also knitted her socks and made her shoes. 😊

Beautiful Gertie. ❤️

A close up of Gertie’s rag baby also made by Janet. Gertie’s dear twin sister, Edith, gave the baby to Gertie to help her not to become too homesick. Edith’s lives with Janet. ❤️

This is Lizzie, Gertie’s sister. ❤️

Lizzy up close. ❤️

Lizzy’s eyes are so beautiful. 😊

Lizzy’s dress was found on Shelly’s site. Her tights are from Sashapotamus and her leather shoes were made by Marti Murphy. ❤️

Lovely Lizzy. ❤️

Sisters ❤️❤️

Lizzy and Gertie. 😊

Meg, a recent toddle creation by Janet. Meg was a baby but now is able to stand. I love the outfit Janet made for her. ❤️

Little Meg found a goose to hold. 😊

Meg is a happy child. 😊

Meg’s outfit from the back. Love the arm patches!

I had to show Meg’s bloomers. They are fantastic and Meg feels very confident with her super bloomers hidden below her skirt. 😊

Family. ❤️

❤️❤️❤️

Next is Gus. Janet painted Gus and his hair was originally red. Janet made his fantastic outfit to include his hat and shoes. ❤️

This is Dane, a Harlequin, created by Janet and inspired by a studio Harlequin. Dane’s head is larger than the vinyl dolls and is the size of a course doll head mold. Janet used pencils I think to create his amazing expression. He has long and lanky cloth limbs. His wig is mohair and perfect for him. He is holding a prized Liberty apple pin cushion. ❤️

Janet also creates felt dolls called poppets. This is the lovely Holly created around the Christmas season. ❤️

Janet made this lovely felt outfit for Holly. 😊

This little fussy poppet is a grumpy girl named Shee-Ta. She is pouty most of the time. 😉

Cheer up little Shee-Ta! Mommy has brought you more Harry Potter books to read! 😊

Life is good little poppet! 😊

Holly is trying to help little Shee-Ta to cheer up! 😉

Well done Holly! I think she looks a little bit happier! ❤️
Next, I will show photos of the studio renditions made by Janet. They were inspired by the outstanding books “Sasha-Puppen” by Till Schaap and “Sasha Dolls. the History” by Anne Votaw. ❤️

A blonde smock girl now named Smoochie. 😊

Beautiful eyes. ❤️

Lovely outfit.

A plait added by Janet for me. ❤️

Janet’s outfits are wonderfully made, each and every piece, and I am amazed at the details that she captures. 😊
