Hello and happy greetings from the Sasha Shangri-La boys! At least most of the English boys and not including this time Ben, the sole studio boy, Heiri, a course boy, Rusty another course boy, and Ryder a Gotz boy. Sweet Gracie loves the boys too and is sitting with them for their first photo of this post. β€
The boys from left to right are Ebo, Quinn, and Jimmy. Β They each have their pups tucked in arm. π
Next we have a partial view of Jimmy and then Drew, Finn and Lewis.
Max, Joey and Brett are next in the line-up.
Last in this row is Bob, Duncan Hans, and a boy named Paul by his previous owner.
It was a bit challenging to get these lads all in a row and they are snuggly packed in line. Β I was successful to capture them all in one photo.
Wait, the sun came out and so we will all go outdoors for photos. How do you easily take twelve boys and their dogs outdoors??? Well, here was my solution this time. π
The boys were carried out in a laundry basket and wrapped in a blanket and in one trip! π
Wonderful boys lined up and in a different order than the indoor photo. It is cooler and the boys are wearing their sweaters except for Finn who wanted to try on a newly found Elliott shirt by A Passion for Sasha. π
Happy boys to be outdoors. π
Duncan Hans wears a colorful sweater knitted by Diane Duke. I was so happy to meet Diane at the Festival in Phoenix and was able to add a few of her wonderful creations to the Sasha wardrobe. π
This is Joey a petite 1970’s blonde boy. He wears a great pullover top made by Millie Dingham. I love the smocked insert with a dinosaur stitched inside. Β He is happily munching on leaves. π Β Joey’s leather boots are by Ruthsdolls.
Next is Drew, a 1968 brunette boy with NP eyes. He wears a wonderful sweater made by Diane Duke. Β His weathered boots were made by Lisa in the UK.
This is Jimmy, a sweet natured, 1968 brunette boy adopted from Ellen Church. Ellen included his original denim outfit with Jimmy and also this handsome shirt, and brown cord pants. I found the cardi on Shelly’s site.
Next is Quinn, a shorts boy found on Shelly’s site. Quinn originally was owned by Ronnie making him extra special. π Β Quinn’s sweater is very colorful and was also made by Diane. It fits perfectly and Quinn loves it. β€ Β His cargo pants are by Gotz and his leather boots were made by Jean Jensen.
The boys were so thoughtful to stand still for the many photos. π
This is the most handsome Ebo that is a Shelly repaint of an earlier Caleb. He wears a great sweater and pants made by Joan Wilson and leather boots by Jean Jensen. Β Please excuse the fuzzies I just noticed on his face. I think it was from the blanket used to protect the boys while in transit.
This is Finn, our only NP boy here at Sasha Shangri-La. Β Finn is all boy and we love him very much! Β He holds his pup Fetch. Finn wear an Elliot top and his red leather boots were made by Jean Jensen.
Next is Lewis that was adopted from Susanna Lewis earlier this year. Lewis came in his original box, outfit, and tags. He is a 1968 brunette boy with smaller eyes. His outfit was made by Betsy May. π
Another brunette boy that has his own look is Max, an ebay find. He is from the 1970’s and has great non-falling hair. I do not know the maker of his outfit but I think he looks very smart in it π
The last grouping of the boys.
Brett is a 1969 boy with mottled blue eyes. I have grown very fond of him and he is wearing a lovely sweater made by Lorraine Tyler with matching socks that you cannot see but Brett is glad they are in place. His boots are by Ruthsdolls.
A last photo of the merry band of boys enjoying the outdoors on the farm. They are sending you all their big boy hugs and also their well wishes for the week to come! π xxx
What a wonderful group of boys and so beautifully dressed too. Bet they don’t stay that neat and tidy for long! Xx
Hi Diane! Yes, the boys posed very well for the camera and then had a great time later playing outdoors. We did put up their good sweaters and trousers first. Sweat pants and t-shirts are their play time wear because they do have fun and get dirty π xxx
What a lovely group of boys you have Ginger. They are all so unique and nicely dressed for this cooler weather. For a brief time I had twelve boys… it was lovely seeing them all together and it’s lovely seeing yours in this group.
Love all the little puppies they each have.Thank you for sharing them :)xxx
Hi Dee! Thank you for the very nice comments. I do love to dress them and line them up— just like the girls. It does take some time to get them all steady at the same time but I am up for the challenge! Plus, it is so nice to finally get them ready and snap the photo! Yeah! π xxx
Wonderful pics, thank you for sharing!
Hi JoAnn! Thanks for stopping by! π xxx
Brett has his sweater on back to front! (the buttons do up at the back…but I would imagine he is just learning to do up buttons and it was easier for him to do them up at the front π )
Love the boys, they look fabulous and it is certainly that time of year to start needing to dress in warmer clothes.
Yes, Lorraine, I will have to keep a better eye out for the boys when they put their clothes on! ;). Thank you for the lovely comments! π xxx
Last week I could have said ‘Snap’ for the boy numbers (although ours was including the two Gotz sharp nosed lads) but another lad has recently moved on from here…. , BUT nowhere near such a handsome line-up (my NP lad and 1968 boy with his NP eye painting having left the Brood Fold earlier. Now we are down to the late 60s/with maybe even a 1970 included.
I can see that you have a boy’s Shangri-la ON TREND 2014 look of woollen jumpers/cardigans and trousers and boots/converses whereas we here are still sporting our Dollydoodles/converses
Was impressed with their ‘carriage’ to the green pastures photoshoot…., rather more dignified and comfortable than being bungled, one on top of each other, into our blue plastic Ikea travel bag!
Wide variety of dog breeds. (Great idea of each having a doggy pet!)
My lads are saying thank you for the good wishes for the coming week and are returning these with some ‘High Fives!’
Hi Kendal! Thank you kindly for your comments. The boys here are sending their ‘High Fives’ back to your boys! How nice they can be like penpals or should we say blogpals? π
It was enjoyable dressing them for cooler weather. The sweaters and footwear really add some nice color that I do not see a lot of for the boys to wear. Or at least not near the variety of colors and styles that are available to their sisters. It was the same for my sons and shopping for them when they were young boys. The stores were packed with girl’s clothing beautifully displayed and the boys would be off to the side on dull colored racks with little selections. I do think it is more balanced these days for the boys and they can now wear bright and happy colors!
I hope you and the other lovely ladies and gents have a wonderful time at Dee’s for the CnS! I will be with you all in my thoughts and imagining all of the fun you will have with the Sashas! I look forward to everyone’s posts afterwards! π xxx
What a treat to see your fantastic line of boys…and super to see Quinn again!
Beautifully dressed as always Ginger!
Thanks Ronnie! It is always a pleasure to hear from you! Quinn sends his love and wants you to know that he is happy here! π xxx
I love them Ginger, what a line up! I love their clothes and each boy has a different and charming appeal. I know it must have been quite a challenge to get 12 boys to behave so beautifully!
Hi Janet and I am so happy you love them too! It was a bit challenging to get them all to stand at the same time but I had plenty of time and it wasn’t windy or rainy so It was pretty smooth sailing! It helped a lot that they were on their best behavior too. π xxx
What a lovely group of boys you have there Ginger, and all so beautifully dressed in their smart jumpers and trousers…my boys, I’m ashamed to admit, are still in their summer clothes…although my excuse is that it is still very hot here! I love seeing yours all line up like this, you have enough for a football (soccer) team and one in reserve π
And yes, those pups are great too, I’m sure it gives the boys an added sense of responsibility to have to look after them and make sure they’re fed properly too !
Have a lovely week yourself, I’m off to the UK on Thursday, so will speak soon!
Big hugs Sharon xxx
Thank you Sharon! I am glad you enjoyed seeing boys dressed for cooler weather. I think you are perfectly fine to keep your clan in their summer clothes since your weather is so hot. I would too! π
Their pups are just a nice addition for the boys. Taking care of them adds to their daily chores which does build character so that is a good thing!
Have a fabulous trip and the best time ever at Dee’s CnS!!!! I will keep you all in my thoughts of the very happy events unfolding! π xxx
