We have had unreasonably warm/hot weather this Fall until the past week or so. I was so happy that the weather cooled and that we also received one good all- day soaking from prayed-for rains that we so needed.
This time of year always especially brings to mind things I am thankful for as our Thanksgiving Day is next week. I am very thankful for the rain and for “Sweater Weather “.
My birthday was last week and I received in the mail a wonderful birthday present from my friend Janet. Janet lives in the UK and she knitted 2 beautiful sweaters for girls here at Sasha Shangri-la.
Hazel is a no navel adopted recently and she came in a lovely sleeveless dress. I thought she needed a sweater since it is cooler now and this beautiful cardigan is a great match for her.
A beautiful outfit for Hazel. Next, I chose another new arrival to wear the second gifted sweater.
I have named this new girl “Berry”. She was “picked” from a berry patch (auction house) in Switzerland. Her new sweater looks lovely with her Ruthsdolls dress. 😉
Both sweaters have sweet heart tags with Janet’s initials. They also came with a strand of pearls each which we are saving for a special time. 🥰

Yes, I am certain those bears are sharing their love of books. The new girls were chosen to wear the new, pretty cardigans to help them stay warm and look great too. The other girls will have to get in line for their turn to wear them. Thank you, Janet. 🥰
