Sasha Shangri-La New Arrivals

image

Hi everyone!  I am new and a little bit scared.  This sweet puppy found me and I feel better now!

image

My Mommy gave me to her friend Auntie Dawn Law at the Sasha Festival in Rochester.  Dawn kindly offered to work with my hair and give me these wonderful curls.  After Dawn was finished, I came back to the States and now I am back home with Mommy. I missed her so much! ❤️But I love my new curls very much!

I love you Mommy! ❤️  My name is Baby Don Don. I am an earlier Trendon baby with molded lids.

Mommy brought me outdoors.  My wonderful knitted outfit was gifted to me by Auntie Dawn. Thank you so very much!

It sure is lonely out here and cold too.  I am glad I am dressed warmly. 🙂

Oh my, look, look!  I have a big sister now and she just arrived here at Sasha Shangri-La.   She is patting my head of curls. 🙂

Hello everyone!  My name is Star and I am new to the Lost Horizon Farm here on Cow Creek.  I came from Shelly’s site before my adoption.  I have long fringe that was rerooted by Michael O’Brien and my overalls were made by Jackie Hyatt and my red leather shoes were made by Ruthsdolls.  When I arrived, Mommy gave me this nice red leather satchel found on Etsy in the Sashapotamus shop.  I love the color red! ❤

I am a 1960’s Gotz girl and I like to play outdoors but I also like to play with dolls and have tea parties. 🙂

I am so happy to be here at Sasha Shangri-La.  Mommy named me Star. 🙂

Mommy took a lot of photos of me to share with you.  It makes me feel very special, kind of like a movie star. ❤

A very happy day. 🙂

Look Baby Don Don, who is this young man?  He seems very nice! 🙂

Hello there!  My name is Fritz and I am new to Sasha Shangri-La too! 🙂

image

Mommy spotted me on a photo posted by Dee on the Sasha Village blog.  I was at the Chat n Snap on Brenda Walton’s table and looking for a Mommy. Mommy said it was “love at first sight”. ❤

image

When I arrive here, my Mommy gave me a big hug and said that I smelled just so wonderful, like a brand new doll would smell from the factory!  She told me that she did not have a Sasha doll as a child and so, since I smell like a brand new Sasha doll, I will hold a very special place in her heart. ❤

image

Mommy also told me that my DIY outfit was made by Sara Doggart, that I was born in 1980 and that I had been on display at the Nuremberg Toy Fair long ago and not played with but stayed with Brenda. 🙂

imageMommy told me that I have a lot of brothers to meet and I am ready for some fun! She gave me another big hug!  I think I am going to like it here! ❤

Fritz, Baby Don Don and Star want to thank you for visiting with us today.  We all send you happy wishes for a wonderful upcoming week. 🙂 xxx

  1. OH! Oh and oh again! Not one, not two but THREE new dolls! How ‘treble’ lucky are you and all arriving over there at roughly the same time!
I hadn’t realised that you had managed to shop at the CnS from such a distance. Very clever thinking!
Love them all so not sure just where to start! What a dear little tot baby Bon- bon is with his sweet tight blonde curls. He reminds me of my baby, Mieni, with her Bettina mohair tight curls.
Star is gorgeous with her Michael O’Brian fringe re-root and unique Jackie Hyatt blue/white outfit with those added touches of red, the perfect colours for our brunettes to wear.
I was wondering who choose which colour satchel to have… so now I know two (plus my own) of the collectors choices.
I too love that new vinyl smell of our Sasha Dolls. They weren’t around in my War-worn childhood but luckily came into production when my daughter was just two… so I was able to enjoy them then. Very special outfit by Sara Doggart too!
Many thanks to you three for your good weeks wishes. I shall certainly put them to good use.
Enjoy yourselves settling in over there and meeting the rest of the Cow Creek family.

    • Hi Kendal and they say three is a charm! Yes, they all arrived within a week’s time! In Dee’s photo, I noticed Fritz in the box because he was redressed which is unusual. Then Dee put me in touch with Brenda and before you know it….Fritz was here! He is delightful and smells heavenly. ❤

Baby Don Don is adorable and Dawn did an incredible re-rooting effort and I am so very grateful to her. I have admired your curly headed baby by Bettina for a very long time. I feel very fortunate to have this baby by Dawn. 🙂

I splurged and bought three satchels. Red, orange and pink. The red one jumped out in front for Star with her red cardigan and red shoes. She is a bright "star" here on the farm. Fritz's outfit was a really nice find and looks great on him. I have a few DIY outfits but none of them are for boys. The poor boys always seem to bring up the rear with their clothing but we are working on clothing improvements and additions for them! Thank you for your lovely comments as always! ❤ xxx

  2. Lucky day to have three wonderful arrivals at the farm. Each one is so special in their own way, Don Don with his cherubic curls, Star with her beauty and Fritz with his wonderful history. What a lovely time to arrive too, just in time for Thanksgiving ❤

    • Hi Janet and thank you. Yes it is a very busy time on Cow Creek with boxes flowing in and out. Our dear mail lady is so very patient and kind hearted. She earns her workout walking up and down our porch steps on a regular basis with a broad smile on her face and not a complaint ever! 🙂

I am so glad you enjoyed the post of the three newest family members. I love this time of year and Thanksgiving is a special holiday to give thanks for our blessings. I am truly blessed. ❤ xxx

  3. Lovely new additions to your Sasha Family Ginger. They all like they will be great new members and I look forward to seeing them in the future. It’s great when we can track down a doll we have seen in a photo and bring it home 🙂 xxx

  4. I missed this post when it first came out – what a lovely group they are! Star is gorgeous, I love Baby’s curls, and Fritz is a special boy. ❤ xxx

  5. Oh my goodness you’ve had some lovely new arrivals to the Sasha Shangri La, Ginger! I particularly like your new Gotz girl, she is beautiful, but both the curly topped baby and the sweet blond Gregor are great new additions 🙂 They will be very happy with you, I’m sure 🙂
    xxx
