So wonderful to feel the warmer air and the sun’s rays on your face! The earth is waking up after a long winter’s sleep. π
Betsy is enjoying the day outdoors. She is leaning against a shed that managed to survive not only the pounding and weight of ice and snow but also the tremendous weight of a pine tree that landed on its roof!
Betsy is wearing a cheery jacket made by Ginny of a Passion for Sasha and crisp new jeans made by Judith of Dollydoodles. π
Betsy was not alone as her twin sister Ellie and new brother, Johnny joined in the fun!
As you can see, my dear husband has been working hard sawing the fallen trees into logs.
You can see the base of one of the fallen trees on top of the hill.
The toddlers just think it is fun in the sun but Daddy thinks it is work! I put a sheet down to protect their new outfits. Β Though it is sunny, the ground is damp and cold from the recent snow fall and melting.
Sweet Ellie is wearing a lovely new sweater and hat knitted by Diane Duke and she has crisp, new jeans like Betsy’s and made by Judith of Dollydoodles. β€
Hi there Johnny! Johnny is wearing a handsome knitted sweater and hat by Diane Duke and his bright red corduroy pants are Dollydoodles! Johnny is a dear little boy. π
Some family play time photos. π
Such fun to climb and roll around. π
Toddlers up close and sending you all hugs! Thank you for visiting us on the Farm and have a warm amd wonderful weekend! π xxx
Your girls will be feeling refreshed with the springtime sun on their little happy faces, that look so happy and loved x
Hi Irene and thank you for the lovely comment. The sweet toddlers are very loved and I think they look happy too! π xxx
I love to see a group of toddlers…and your little tots are beautifully dressed. Great post today Ginger!
Have a good weekend!
Thanks Ronnie, it was good to feel the warmth of the sun and to finally be able to wear a light weight coat. I was so intent on the toddlers that I nearly missed the daffodil shoots by the shed.! Yahoo!! π Hope your weekend is good too! β€ xxx
Goodness Ginger where did all the snow go!! That was a quick change round. Lovely to see your toddlers sitting out watching Dad work on clearing the fallen trees.
They are all looking snuggly and warm in their new Diane Dukes sweater sets, I love the two photo’s of them all together sitting on the logs.
Have a lovely weekend:)xx
Hi Dee! I know, I wondered where the snow went too especially since there was so much if it! It is now all melted and coursing through the very saturated ground. So nice to see the sun!
Toddlers are just so cute and fun to dress. Diane’s and Judith’s and Ginny’s clothes fit perfectly! Tthank you for the lovely comments and good wishes. π xxx
Lovely photos and read. Amazing how fast the snow goes once the weather starts to warm up! Always a pleasure to see toddlers π x
Thank you Louise! So glad you enjoyed the toddlers! π xxx
A warm and sunny welcome then for new toddler, Johnny!
Love the surrounding environment today. There’s nothing quite like a natural backdrop for off-setting our Sasha photos…..especially the tree’s bark which although rugged in texture, has such a warm look to it which enhances the bright, colourful colours of the toddler’s clothing.
It looks like our Springtime here is much more advanced as we luckily didn’t have ALL that snow a couple of weeks ago!
Thanks toddlers for your weekend hugs.
Thank you Kendal for the special welcome for Johnny! He was an “Erik” and my husband helped to rename him by casually calling him Johnny and it seemed to fit the sweet boy!
Our farm is mostly tucked in a valley with steep hillsides and we lag behind on seeing the new growth of Spring since the sunshine is limited each day. Yesterday when driving to the store, I saw daffodils in full bloom just a few miles from us where the terrain is flatter. When the temperatues get really high, we are grateful for this lag because we are amazingly protected from extreme heat and are usually 10 degrees cooler than areas just a few miles away!
So glad you enjoyed seeing the toddlers outdoors. It was very nice to be able to spend that time with them! π xxx
Hello Johnny, Betsy and Ellie! Don’t you look lovely in your new clothes? You are certainly having fun in the spring sunshine. Clever daddy putting those logs ready for you too. Wish I could join you for a picnic kids.
