This sweet little waif is Val. Val was an ebay find and came to me years ago in a tiny shipping box with her head, hair, legs and arms all in a jumble and no stringing in sight! Val will always be a waif to me because I can’t seem to erase my first impression of her and that is perfectly ok with me since I love waifs! 🙂
I was the lucky buyer of this Ra-Ra outfit with stripy socks made by the very talented Sharon Humphreys. Val is the perfect girl to wear this fun outfit because she is very shy and wearing this outfit gives her confidence. 😉
Val’s purple leather shoes were made by Jean Jensen.
I think Val looks great in her new outfit! She came with her hair cut this way and the side wings. It seems to suggest a ponytail hair style.

She’s adorable and does have that shy look about her. Purple is definitely her color. Also, cut or not her hair looks just right for her.

I love the outfit – shoes and socks too! My own Sasha looks like she coud be Val’s cousin, I am thinking about styling her hair into a ponytail with side wisps around her face just like Val’s.
Hi Janet, I really like this hair style too though Val came with the side wings or wisps and I was not brave enough to cut them myself.
There is some freedom with waifs though to try new hair styles and, through some trial and error, you will find a great look! Maybe Val’s hair style will be helpful to you as you decide what you like and don’t like and I would love to see your girl when you think she is ready! 🙂 xxx

I too ADORE the Sasha waifs. They are so appealing with their need for some TLC which certainly tugs at our ‘ever open’ motherly heart strings….. making them totally irresistible.
