Homecoming on Cow Creek

Three members of the Sasha Shangri-la family have returned home recently. We are very happy to have them rejoin us.

The first to return was Meredith, a 1966 developmental girl. Meredith is truly a mint, MIB, Sasha with her original outfit, tag, and even her box.  I usually have “loved” dolls that are wonderful but not mint. I will be careful with sweet Meredith but I do hope to redress her one day. I don’t think she has been redressed before so we will see. 😬

The next sweet return is Erin. She is a beautiful studio doll that left Cow Creek in 2012. I had really missed her and her new owner was a wonderful Sasha mom all these years! The stars aligned and Erin came home to Sasha Shangri-la last month.  I am so happy! 🥰

Erin has blonde hair and very vivid green eyes. Her plaid studio dress is perfect especially this time of year with a red and green plaid and red leather shoes. A very festive attire I think!

Next is Betsy, a dear dear Iona toddler doll. Betsy left in 2017 and I missed her very much. She also had a fantastic Sasha mom all this time.  Once again, the stars aligned and Betsy returned this month. Oh joy! 🥰

Pretty Betsy came home in the outfit she was wearing which is so nice.  Her dress was made by Ginny,  Passion for Sasha and her leather shoes are made by Monica.

I took a couple of photos of Betsy with Erin to share.

I hope you enjoyed this homecoming post today. Meredith, Erin, and Betsy all join me in thanking you for visiting with us. 🥰

A sneak peek at a Kathe Kruse corner tucked away in a cabinet here on Cow Creek. 🥰

  1. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to comment directly on your WordPress blogpost so I’m replying to your email as you suggested and hope that you can add it to your post.

What a lucky Sasha collector you must be having the opportunity to have three of your previous dolls returned. You must be on Santa’s GOOD/NICE girl list.

Erin was my very first Studio Doll and just loved the fact that she was minty and wearing all her original clothing. Marie Morgan named her Erin on account of her Irish green eyes and I kept it as it certainly suited her.

Love MIB Meredith, a Frido 1966 Jeans girl. Her style and year of make was one of the six dolls when I went to Galt Toys, near to the Frido Factory, in May 1966 to choose a Sasha for my daughter’s second birthday. You will be braver than me if you do decide to re-dress her in the future!!!

Thirdly, Iona is one of my favourites of the toddlers along with Ollie!

Have an enjoyable time playing with these three returners!

  2. Thank you Kendal for your comments which did post on the blog! How exciting! So you must have done it correctly. 🥰
I love that Erin used to be part of your Sasha brood. She has really been important to both of us. Studio dolls really tug at our hearts. ❤️
When Meredith lived here before, I left her in her original outfit and couldn’t bring myself to redress her. Now, she will be in the cabinet for the foreseeable future with the other NPs, toddlers and special babies. It’s nice to see her there.
it has been wonderful to have these sweet dolls back and I am enjoying them very much. Thank you again for writing dear friend. 🥰

  3. Hello Dearest,
How lovely that you have had such a bountiful homecoming with these three special darlings, I am so glad to have seen your blog and been able to see the photos.
Your Christmas parcel arrived yesterday and is under the tree. Please let me know when your parcel arrives as there doesn’t seem to be a tracking number on the receipt although it is supposed to be tracked!
Have a lovely day dear one,
    Love Janet xxxxxx

    • Thank you Janet for writing. I am happy the box arrived. I will definitely let you know when your box arrives.

I am hoping to post to the blog more often. I like posting new arrivals especially. For some reason, it has been easier for me to post than it was before. Yay! 🥰
