Happy Easter from Sasha Shangri-La

Happy Easter to you! We are celebrating on this beautiful day the newest arrival at Sasha Shangri-La. Β I am happy to introduce a very sweet 1968 English production girl named Teddie. πŸ™‚

Teddie previously lived at Sasha Village with Dee’s lovely clan. We are so happy to welcome Teddie to our farm on Cow Creek. πŸ™‚

Teddie has been redressed in an outfit made by Ginny of Passion for Sasha. Her leather shoes were made by Jean Jensen. I love Teddie’s pretty eyes and wider face. ❀

  1. Teddie is lovely Ginger! Congrats on adding this beautiful early girl to your collection. The blue she wears make her gorgeous eyes ‘pop”. With her healthy hair and round face she is truly amazing. Such very fine qualities.

    • Thank you Cathy. I think Teddie is an amazing girl too. We finally had a couple of sunny days this weekend and I was able to go outdoors for some photos. It was so nice! I hope your weather is good too! πŸ™‚ xxx

  2. I hope you had a wonderful Easter with everyone on the farm Teddie. Teddie is absolutely beautiful, I love her wider face too and her eyes are breath taking. I am just a sucker for the 68s and I am not surprised to hear she came from Aunty Dee as we share the same taste in the girls who have just developed their philtrum! What a wonderful addition to your amazing collection ❀

    • We had a very wonderful Easter Auntie Janet. ❀ I miss Auntie Dee and my brothers and sisters at Sasha Village very much. I am making friends here though and my sister Faith was the first one to greet me though my sister Mimi was right behind her. Mimi and I both lived at Sasha Village and we are have a great time sharing stories of our family and friends. πŸ™‚

Thank you Janet, so glad you like Teddie too. I really appreciate Dee adopting her out to me. Teddie and I have been waiting a long time for a pretty day to take photos which also had to be a weekend day since my work schedule often brings me home very late in the day with no light for outdoor photos. Finally, Easter weekend was our gift of beautiful weather. πŸ™‚ xxx

  3. Well here I am at last! Hopefully better late than never! I am quite envious you being able to add another NEW doll on this important Church’s feast day. Unfortunately gone are those days here when a new member used to join The Brood on these special days (Christmas, Easter, Mother;s Day, Birthdays, etc) as we are now (and have been for quite a while) ‘full to busting’ with Sasha Dolls! They are literally having to fight and jostle for standing/sitting space in every room.
Great to see the lovely Teddie settling in well over there. Has she recognised any other dolls from The Sasha Village? (Was especially thinking of the 1960s Gotz slate eyed pony-tailed girl.) I know that she was one of Denise’s later arrivals so perhaps not.
Love the colour of your Hyacinths. I have six of those darker purple-blue ones here too. Such a rich colour..

    • Hi Kendal and I am so glad you are here, as always! πŸ™‚ This adoption is all credited to Dee and her kindness to adopt Teddie out to me. Though the weather delayed Teddie’s introduction, I am really happy that it happened on Easter Day. It is nice to introduce a new family member on a special day. πŸ™‚

I am also challenged with space for the dolls and I plan to part with a lot of my non-Sasha dolls in the near future. The Sashas are slowly displacing other dolls and that is just fine with me! I love them so much and placing them around the house and spending time dressing, arranging and playing with them is a wonderful way to spend the day when I am at home. πŸ™‚

Sweet Teddie was first greeted by Faith, a fringe girl that happened to be out and very close at hand when Teddie was lifted from her box. But, you have a great memory and yes, Mimi, the ponytail brunette that was adopted from the Sasha Village was the second sister to welcome Teddie. Mimi’s other ponytail sisters slowed her down I think. They are a very close trio of sisters and are reluctant to let Mimi leave their sides. But Mimi managed to slip away and was so happy to see Teddie. πŸ˜‰

I, too, love the hyacinths and hope to add different colors to the garden soon. It is nice to see them when they bloom and they arrived just after the daffodils popped up. I so love this time of year. Thank you for the lovely comments. ❀ xxx

  4. Teddie is beautiful Ginger, and will make a wonderful addition to the Sasha Shangri La, it’s wonderful to see her there with you, she’s such a beautiful girl. Those eyes of hers are very dreamy and her hair makes me think of photos from the 1950s! I look forward to seeing more of her in the future, here on your blog.
I hope you had a lovely Easter Sunday. Oh and I must say those hyacinths are a very pretty colour, I can imagine how their scent must waft through the air when there is a breeze πŸ™‚
Big hugs to you and yours.

    • Thank you Sharon. Teddie is a happy addition to the Sasha family and a very sweet and dreamy girl. She will be a regular on the blog and she is making friends very quickly here at Sasha Shangri-La. πŸ™‚

We did have a lovely Easter and I hope you did too! The fragrance of the hyacinths is delightful and strong too. I am really enjoying the first flowers of the year very much. Spring is a wonderful time of the year. ❀ xxx
