Have a Little Bit of Faith

image
I have neglected my lovely Faith!  I have been blog writing about other Sasha dolls and most of them were new arrivals highlighting the happy holidays.  Because of this, I thoroughly enjoyed dressing Faith in this delightful Charlie Brown outfit.   I was lucky to find this outfit on Shelly’s wonderful site. 🙂

image
Faith is a 1968 fringe girl and her eyes are hand painted. Most of her fringe has blended with her longer locks and I love her hair styled just as it is. ❤

Faith came to me in her birthday suit and I have had a lot of fun dressing her in different outfits over the years. 🙂

Faith’s eyes are very beautiful. ❤

image
I thought of putting tights on Faith but decided to leave her with socks and boots since her legs are such a lovely tan and they look nice with her mini skirt. 🙂

Faith has a nice, very full head of hair.

Another view of Faith’s fun outfit. 🙂

A pink puppy catches Faith’s attention. 🙂

Finn and Faith have long been brother and sister here at Sasha Shangri-La.   Finn’s pup is named “Fetch”. ❤

Her brother Finn is one year older and he is a non philtrum boy made in 1967.  His outfit was a “helper” at the 2014 festival that I was lucky to win!  I removed the matching boggin to better show Finn’s hair. 🙂

A happy pair! 🙂

A final photo of Faith. I hoped you enjoyed seeing her and I wish you a wonderful weekend!  Hugs are coming to you! 🙂 xxx

  1. Hello Faith, It’s lovely to see you again. I love your new outfit it suits you very well and it’s lovely seeing your brother Finn tagging along with you in this post.
    Love Auntie Dee xx

Ginger I love the 68 single fringe girls the best out of all the Sasha’s and Faith is a lovely example. I personally think 68 (for all the dolls of that year) is THE year that the factory hit the mother load ! 🙂 xx

    • Hi Auntie Dee! Thank you for the very kind comments about my outfit. I knew Mummy would make it special for me so I didn’t mind being patient and waiting. Finn and I came here to live about the same time so he does like to see me. We have happy memories together!
      Much love, Faith

I agree Dee, the artists must have been so well practiced by 1968 and I understand the pressure of their soaring sales had yet to hit the factory full force. I had wondered and thought that it must have been very difficult to paint quickly and beautifully at the same time. 1968 dolls are just wonderful to see!
Thank you for writing! ❤ xxx

  2. What a lovely girl Faith is, it’s so nice to see her again on here Ginger. And yes, I remember this outfit on one of Kendals older blog posts I think 🙂 You obviously both have very good taste because this is a lovely outfit, so trendy and cute! And I agree, with legs like those, who wants to cover them in tights. If you’ve got it Faith, then you flaunt it, as they say 🙂
And of course a mention for Finn, who is always a handsome little beastie 🙂
    Big hugs Sharon xxx

    • Thank you Sharon and so glad you enjoyed seeing Faith! Her outfit must be from the Kendal Collection with you and Ronnie both remembering it. I wonder now if I saw it too and that is why I snapped it up remembering how well I liked it! :).

Yes, Faith does have “it” doesn’t she? I don’t have many mini skirts but she is a great model for them! 🙂

Thank you too for the kind words for Finn. He is a dear boy! ❤ Big Hugs for you too! XXX

  3. Just to put the records straight……..That is obviously Anne-Marie’s OOAK ex-outfit as I still have mine (a very similar version) that Anne-Marie had made up for me as I so adored hers ….and Chon was a real Snoopy (and Woodstock) Fanatic in her teens.
The pink suede boots could well have been mine though as I did sell those on via Sashadolluk…. (and I know,Ginger, that you have bought several of my ex-outfits/shoes from here over the years.)
Both Finn and Faith look stunning and they compliment each other beautifully.!

    • Thank you Kendal for clearing up the questions about the lovely outfit. It’s great that you still have your version! :). This outfit came with the boots and socks as a complete set which was very nice to find. I love being on the receiving end of your ex-outfits—though it was not the case this time!

Thank you for the lovely comments! 🙂 xxx

  4. Darling little Faith, my Faith is so envious of your new outfit. That is just the cutest thing as we are big fans of Peanuts in this house. You really ‘rock’ that outfit! xx
